Sidhu Makhi Farm is a food processing enterprise in Nathana, a village located in Bathinda, Punjab. Established in June 2022 by Mr. Jaspal Singh (45), the enterprise is engaged in the processing of Honey.

Prior to setting up his food processing unit, Mr. Jaspal Singh was engaged in bee-keeping and trading of raw Honey for almost 20 years. He was interested in setting up a food processing unit and was searching for avenues that could provide financial assistance for this purpose. He came to know about the PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme through the District Resource Person. After applying under the PMFME Scheme, he received a bank loan (State Bank of India) of Rs.10,00,000. With the loan amount, he purchased a Honey Processing Plant and a Packaging Machine.

After the installation of the machinery, the enterprise is operating at a production capacity of 1000 kg per month and generating a profit of approximately Rs.3,00,000 per month.

The products are being marketed via wholesale and retail outlets across all the districts of Punjab. The enterprise is marketing the products through social media platforms.The financial turnover of Sidhu Makhi Farm for FY 2021-22 was Rs. 20,00,000.
